Italian Cow Leather Logger Boots in Beige
Italian Cow Leather Logger Boots in Beige by nonnative.
Made at the Regal factory in Tsubamesanjo in the highlands of Nigata, an area famous for the expert craftsmanship of the small workshops and factories there. These high quality leather boots are made in collaboration with Japanese heritage footwear brand Regal Boots, making them the brand's first produced Hiking boot. Boots feature a Norwegian Welt- a double stitch waterproof variation of the Goodyear welt. The stitch is finished with drops of resin providing a waterproof seal. Only one man in Asia has the skills to do a Norwegian welt. Now in his 70's, he came out of retirement just to assist in the production of these shoes.

Born in Portland, Ore., Satoshi Saffen founded nonnative in 1999 in Tokyo solely on a single T-shirt design. Two years later, Takayuki Fuji joined as designer and a full men's seasonal collection followed. With Nonnative, Saffen create well-made men's clothing based on classic military, workwear and outdoor gear with meticulous tailoring and a fixation of comfort and fit. Silhouettes are slim yet unrestrictive, practical and versatile. All clothing is made in Japan. “I want to make clothes that a guy can wear in all situations whether he is walking down the street, going to a club, driving in the country or meeting his girlfriend’s parents," says Fuji. That’s nonnative style.”
